Days after Conor McGregor claimed he was in a “tremendous room” ahead of a possible fight against Dustin Poirier in January, he has told his haters that they will accuse him of boasting in a gym next to a selfie.

Former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion McGregor is expected to return after a year against well-known rival Dustin Poirier in January and provide a glimpse into his training regime as he posed topless with the flag of his native Ireland in the background.

The man, who announced his third resignation in June, wore a heart rate monitor and a pair of skin-tight blue trunks that seemed to accentuate the outline of his crotch.

“If I tell you I’m good, you will likely say I boast,” he added. “But if I tell you that I’m not good. You will know that I am lying.”

The game is still very young! Anderson didn’t start making it until he was 31 years old. The world will really know when all this is said and done. Who is who and what is what. Mark it. The cream always rises to the top! Just like a good pint of proper No.Twelve with whipped cream!

The provocative post underpinned McGregor’s most recent impromptu question-and-answer session on social media, which he concluded by comparing himself to MMA icon Bruce Lee.

“I rarely go to the best place I’ve ever been,” he explained. “Excited to show my practices to the world. However, I am still awaiting official confirmation.”

McGregor reiterated his insistence that he had been ready to fight several times this year, and reiterated an argument with UFC President Dana White over his lack of action at a time when fighting planning was massively disrupted by the pandemic.

“”[I was] Ignored on the three dates I suggested – three consecutive dates, I could add, “he told a fan.

“I would have had four fights this calendar year. [That was followed] by pausing for lack of crowds.

Oddly enough, that rainfall, the 4th of 5 in that fight, was not put down. Still, he went on one knee. 3 contact points = knockdown! With this result I would not only have the record for “Fastest KO in a UFC title fight”, but also the record for “Most Knockdowns” in one.

No. I completely broke my left ACL on the previous lap. The kick almost made me put weight on my left leg. With no stability, I jump to the right leg and end up in a sort of pistol squat to save weight on the broken leg that would have caused it to collapse.

“I said, ‘fuck that,’ and bounced. Four fights in this era would equate to six million pay-per-view purchases. How much [money] lost?”

Pointing to the long career of one of his heroes, Anderson Silva, 32-year-old McGregor said he felt “very young” before claiming he had lost in battles with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Eddie Alvarez had not been achieved.

Looking back on a terrible injury sustained during his points win over Max Holloway in 2013, he analyzed his reaction to an opponent’s kick by revealing, “I completely broke my left ACL in the previous round.

“The kick almost makes me put weight on my left leg. With no stability, I jump to the right leg – which ends up in a kind of gun squat – to save any weight that would have been placed on the broken leg to crumble it. “

Summing up his achievements, McGregor said, “Fastest KO in a UFC title fight. Most defeats in a UFC title fight. Featherweight belt. Lightweight belt. Champ Champ.”
