Larry King died at the age of 87 after battling the COVID-19 virus and many other stars visited their respective social media platforms to pay tribute to the legendary CNN host. Check out some of them here!

Larry King was hospitalized earlier this month after testing positive for the COVID-19 strain of the coronavirus and, unfortunately, lost the fight.

After the sad news got around, many social media outlets flooded with sweet news to honor and celebrate him.

One came from the co-host of The View Meghan McCain who tweeted some throwback posts and mentioned Larry was a “real friend”.

She wrote in part: ‘There are’ friends’ in this industry and there are real friends that I can count on on the one hand. Larry was one of those people. Right from the start of my career, when nobody took me seriously, he gave me a platform, opportunities, guidance and support and always treated me with the greatest respect. ‘

Meghan also mentioned that she’s been on his show many times and even had to stand up for him as a host.

She said that he was great at giving career advice that was “old school”, entertaining, funny and “an experience” every time she went on his show.

“You are an institution, a broadcast legend that will never be replaced and will really be missed. Television is less interesting without you, ”she concluded her tribute.

Another one to remember was Cindy Crawford, the supermodel who posted a video of her on his show in 1996!

Celine Dion expressed her sadness about his death and mentioned that among other things he felt that everyone was her lifelong friend.

Lisa Vanderpump posted an older picture of her with her late pup and Larry posing together with the headline saying, “Aaagh, he was an icon and I remember how lovely he was in that interview … # RIPLarryKing. “
