On today’s “Pranksgiving” edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live !, host Jimmy Kimmel recalled what he thinks is the best April Fool’s joke in history.
“Do you remember last year when Trump promised the coronavirus would go away by Easter?” he was joking. “That was good.”
Kimmel then turned to current events and took in the former president’s recent calamity. “In Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump played a very cruel trick on his son Eric,” he said. “He opened his arms and pretended to hug him.”
The host then returned to Covid Talk and found that Sarah Palin and two of her children had fallen ill with the “old lipstick on a pit bull”. “How, she doesn’t know,” he said. “Sarah Palin lives in Alaska. You almost have to try to catch Covid in Alaska. It is easier to catch a bald eagle. “

In his opening monologue, Kimmel noted that the former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate is now encouraging others to wear masks to prevent the spread of Covid-19. This “is rich,” he said, because Palin had traveled “all the way to Texas” to visit a beauty salon at the start of the US outbreak. He remembered that the reason for their visit was to support the owner of this salon, who went to jail for refusing to close her shop.
“But now that Sarah herself was bitten by the bug, she changed her tune. I love these people who only believe in science when it happens to them, ”he said. “But it’s good for her that she finally spoke up.”
Kimmel later warned that coronavirus isn’t the only communicable disease we have to fear right now. “Oxford University is supposed to be working hard on a vaccine against what they call ‘super gonorrhea’,” he said. “In 2018, a Brit vacationing in Southeast Asia fell ill with what has been described as the worst case of gonorrhea ever.”
“God only knows how he got this gonorrhea, but he did and now it’s spreading.” he added. “The hope is that a vaccine that can stop it will be ready in time for the next season of Bachelor in Paradise. So keep your fingers crossed.”
