because Meghan Markle is seriously pregnant, she has not been cleared to travel to the UK to attend Prince Philip Funeral. That being said, it turns out that Prince Harry’s actress wife was watching the service from her home in California.

Not only that, but she made sure to give a gift to them Royal family before the funeral.

As those who keep up with the royal family know, Prince Harry flew to the UK alone as Meghan was not approved to fly.

That’s not to say she didn’t let everyone in the palace know that she was thinking of her.

She did this by sending a very special gift – a beautiful wreath and handwritten note – according to Vanity Fair.

The wreath, made from flowers from the region, was definitely laid at the funeral today.

Additionally, it was reportedly designed by Willow Crossley, who also worked with Meghan and Harry on their floral arrangements for their wedding, but also for their son Archie Harrison’s christening and the launch of the Hubb Community Cookbook!

The couple even asked for the wreath with Acanthus mollis (also known as bear breeches).

This is the national flower of Greece and was used to honor Prince Philip’s legacy.

Another significant flower was Eryngium (also known as Sea Holly), which represented the Royal Marines.

Others were campanula, which symbolize gratitude and everlasting love, rosemary as a reminder, lavender which means devotion, and finally roses, which are the flower of Prince Philip’s month of birth!

Prince Philip, the longtime husband of Queen Elizabeth, died on April 9 at the age of 99.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, he was being honored in a rather reluctant service, so it was for the better that Maghan couldn’t make it either. The maximum number of participants was 30.
