When our Forever First Lady Michelle Obama said, “When they get low, we go high,” she really meant it as she continued to climb to new heights. It was announced earlier this week that she would be inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame.

According to CBS News, the official induction ceremony will be held in October and it will be taped along with several other initiates, including Octavia Butler, Judy Chicago, Katherine Johnson, Joy Harjo, Rebecca Halstead, Emily Howland, Indra Nooyi and My hamm.

The National Women’s Hall of Fame press release states: “During her eight years as First Lady Michelle Obama, she helped create the most welcoming and comprehensive White House in history and transform the White House into a people’s house. Since she left the White House, she has continued to have a profound impact on the public. “
