Super agent Mino Raiola has blown up Manchester United and given clubs like Chelsea hope to sign their in-demand client Erling Haaland.

In an interview with The Athletic, the controversial agent first had a few words for Manchester United and legendary former manager Sir Alex Ferguson about his treatment of Paul Pogba.

“When Ferguson criticized me, it was my biggest compliment anyone could give me. Ferguson is used to people walking in and ‘Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Yes, sir,'” Raiola began to explain .

“All I have to say when Ferguson left Manchester United was the owner of the club [the Glazers]By buying back Paul Pogba, he told me I was right. Because I didn’t want to take Paul Pogba with me. He [Ferguson] did not believe in Paul Pogba.

“When Ferguson says, ‘I don’t like him,’ that’s the biggest compliment I could get. It is as if Sepp Blatter was saying: “I don’t like him.” Fantastic. I don’t care what Ferguson says, “Raiola went on before turning his attention to city rivals Manchester City and manager Pep Guardiola.

“Mr. Guardiola, I closed the book a long time ago,” said Raiola. “Everyone knows what I think of them personally, and they can say what they think of me personally. Besides, I think he’s a great coach. And so it is. I’m not going to shut up for anyone. I’ll give my opinion, I think it’s my right. “

“With Mr Ferguson or Guardiola, I have this problem – and I think it is changing now – that [they believe] we should submit to them because “otherwise you won’t make a player with Manchester United tomorrow”.

“I am not afraid if I never play another player at Manchester United. I am not in their hands. I am independent. We only have one party that we care about: our players. And as long as our players like us, You do what you have to do. “

While the remarks enraged fans of both clubs, Raiola appears to have bolstered those of rival Chelsea further south in London.

Raiola’s obviously irritable relationship with Guardiola isn’t a good sign that Erling Haaland is rocking at Etihad, but the blues’s strong finances and cleaner history with his agent could bring the Norwegian to Stamford Bridge.

“Chelsea got the perfect boost in pursuing Erling Haaland,” wrote blues fan account Chelsea FC News in an interview with Raiola.

Barca ‘optimistic’ about Haaland move – but can they really dream of big names in financial straits?

“Everyone was wrong about Haaland. He’s done things a lot faster than anyone imagined. Haaland is facing his own development. He’s ahead of his own schedule. Maybe I was too careful when I said, ‘Oh no, let’s move on Dortmund instead of I don’t know where, “said Raiola of his indictment.

“This boy – I am 100 percent convinced and everyone is convinced – can switch to any club wherever he wants, already at this level. And he could have done that last year. But maybe last year there were teams (who said), “Oh, he was in Red Bull, can he do that in another club?” He’s faster than his own prediction. So yes, Haaland is the talk of the town. “
