While residents in the UK are shooting for the Covid-19 vaccine, hosts Trevor Noah and Jimmy Kimmel fired their shots at President Donald Trump on Tuesday night when they criticized the former reality TV star for his vaccine rollout plans.

The New York Times reported Monday that the White House had passed the chance to get more Pfizer vaccine doses for Americans. A $ 1.95 billion deal now passed to secure more Covid-19 vaccine doses for Americans who need it means a longer wait and a surplus for other countries.

“This seems like a stupid decision by Trump, but if you take a moment to think about it, you will find that it was a really stupid decision by Trump,” the Daily Show host said Tuesday night.

During his “Keeping Up with Corona” segment, Noah not only expressed his continued disappointment with the way states are handling the Covid-19 pandemic, which is growing across the country. He praised the various lockdown practices of other countries around the world. He highlighted the verbatim call by South African officials to challenge people who wear their masks incorrectly and India’s corporal punishment.

In India, those caught with their masks on anywhere except the mouth and nose are instructed by officials to exercise publicly. On the streets, officials let those complying with Covid-19 rules do sit-ups, push-ups, and more.

“I’d rather put a mask on my face than exercise in public, which like all of my nightmares come back to life in elementary school,” joked Noah. “Take off your mask and next, think you know you have a personal trainer.”

Kimmel also took Trump’s decision to forward Pfizer’s offer, criticizing the president’s new confusing order on Operation Warp Speed, which seems to confuse even officials on the team. The Jimmy Kimmel Live presenter also made fun of the latest Covid-19 case in Trump’s close circle. Jenna Ellis, an additional Trump attorney who testified against the 2020 election results, tested for the positive for the coronavirus months after questioning the legitimacy of the Covid-19 virus.

“I’m starting to think that with all of this, the virus has a sense of humor,” joked Kimmel.
