Up-and-coming UFC star Khamzat Chimaev says Brazilian jiu-jitsu icon Demian Maia has turned down a fight but sees a competition with fan favorite Jorge Masvidal as “possible”.

UFC boss Dana White confirmed on Fight Island this week that Chimaev – who claimed a third UFC win in 66 days last weekend – would later be in a five-round contest against a senior opponent in Las Vegas for the settlement of the The main event is scheduled for the year.
